Tom & Abbie Lovingood's 1958 Plymouth Fury
Ronnie thanks for a "GREAT" Saturday night! My senior year at Plant High, 1957, I was driving and making payments on my new 1957 Fury, which was the car I met my wife in! We have restored and built a lot of cars over the years, 427 Cobra, several Corvettes including a 57 F.I., Mustangs, all three years of Little T-Birds of which the 55 is in a museum. We also had some show bikes, but had the Fury in our thoughts. We tried for over 15 years to find one. Five years ago we found a 58 Red Plymouth, Christine clone, listed in Michigan, We checked all three serial #'s with Chrysler and it was not only a Fury but a "Golden Commando" I "JUMPED" on it. The difference is it had the new 350ci not the 318ci. Not many changes on the 57 to 58 body, head & tail lights. When I ordered my 57, I ordered no power equipment and the optional standard tranny, three on the tree. "Big Daddy" Don Garlits keep it ready for the drag strip.

Thanks again,
Tom & Abbie Lovingood
